Day One: Target!

On our first full day in Florida, what was number one on our list? Well, Target, duh. Actually we really did have to go to Target, because Matt forgot his jammies and shampoo. It was a good excuse to drive around and explore Niceville and Destin though.

This was our view as we drove across the bay into Destin:

This cured any homesickness we may have gotten.

We had lunch OUTSIDE.

That afternoon, we went to the beach!!

In the evening, Nate had a baseball game. It was a gorgeous evening to watch all the 5- and 6-year-olds play ball.

Kathryn loves watching Brother's games.


That night, Karl decided it was time to try a glass of Coke. He didn't like it, so I guess it's back to water and milk.
