Hansel and Gretel

The fun continued today when we went to Minneapolis to see the opera, "Hansel and Gretel" at Orchestra Hall. It's always fun to bring Laura and Karl to concerts and plays because they're such well-behaved audience members, and today was no exception (just don't ask how they behaved at Target on the way home). After the show, there were conducting lessons in the lobby, which is where Karl got his conducting baton.

Since we were downtown, we had to stop by Barnes & Noble.

Then we went to an early dinner at Brit's Pub, where Laura read her new book while she waited for her pint of Guinness, er, milk.
