Laura's Dream Day at MOA

Last weekend, Laura and I drove to Bloomington to spend some quality girl time at the Mall of America. Our first stop was lunch at IHOP, and I forgot to take a picture, but I'm sure you've all seen plenty of pictures of Laura eating breakfast foods so you can just use your imagination.

As soon as we got to the mall, we headed directly to Barnes & Noble and settled in.http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7047/6906990737_dc057c4d2c_z.jpg

Next up was the American Girl store. Laura bought an animal poster book and a little dog named "Chocolate Chip" to add to her American Girl pet collection. Laura LOVES dogs and cats and cute little animals in theory, but not in reality. Her room is covered in cute animal posters. She loves to read about them. She snuggles up to her stuffed animals. But actually touch a real one? Ick. Get away.http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7179/6906991393_349a75ee0d_z.jpg

After checking out Lego Land and getting a small tub of Legos, we had a snack at Coldstone. Laura and I love love love Coldstone, and it's been a LONG time since we'd been there, so we savored every bite!http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7209/6906991897_3e2f8d043d_z.jpg

Oh, the main reason we went to the Mall of America is because Laura was scheduled to perform there. No biggie. She does it every year as part of a fund raiser for the MusicLink, which provides music scholarships. Laura was as cool as usual. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7185/6906992345_a297d54b0b_z.jpg
