More Soccer Fun

Yesterday Mom and Dad, Angie, Jason, Colin, and Justin came to watch Laura, Karl, and Luke play soccer. I was worried that soccer would be cancelled because of a large storm brewing in the area, but then I remembered that Chisago county has a huge bubble over it, keeping all the rain out. Despite the ominous dark clouds, the rain never came. It broke up like magic as soon as it came to our area.

This is what the kids look like after soccer. After I finish scrubbing the grass stains out of Karl's uniform, I simply fold Laura's and put it away in her drawer for next week (not really, but I could). Oh well, different kids.

We went to Dairy Queen after the game. Colin had fun watching his cousins play soccer, and yes, he eventually got ice cream too.

Yesterday was also Mom and Dad's 49th wedding anniversary. What could be more romantic than eating fake ice cream? Angie didn't get the memo that yesterday was plaid shirt day.
